Eddie and Eimear Irwin’s Co Tipperary-based Marlhill House Stud went to 160,000 euros (US $236,800) for 13-year-old Soviet Arctic, offered as part of the Sangster family’s dispersal. Covered by Dansili, she is the dam of Group One placed Russian Blue. The day saw 257 catalogued, with 222 offered and 157 selling for 7,415,500 euros (US $10,974,950) at an average of 47,232 euros (US $69,903) and a median of 35,000 euros (US $51,800).
