Grade I winner Henny Hughes' first offspring is a Kentucky-bred colt foaled Jan. 29. Bred by Turner Breeders, the colt is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Boston Express and is out of the Forty Niner mare American River.

Winner of the King's Bishop (gr. I) and Vosburgh (gr. I) Stakes, Henny Hughes is by Hennessy out of the Meadowlake mare Meadow Flyer. He stands at Sheikh Mohammed's Darley near Lexington. His 2008 fee is $40,000.
