Omega Code (Elusive Quality—Tin Oaks, by Deputy Minister) stands for $7,500 at Hartley/De Renzo, Walmac South near Ocala, Fla.
Sir Cherokee’s initial winner, Need a Name, won at five furlongs in :59.55 at Churchill Downs in his first start. Bred in Kentucky by Richard J. Forbush, the gelding races for trainer Merrill R. Scherer and Gus Goldsmith.
Need a Name is the third winner from four starters from the winning Lost Code mare Lost Command.
